Rounded to 3 significant figures — this is a comparative index under assumed uptimes, not a measured figure. Ratios between builds are far more reliable than the absolute number. See Model & sources.
Per strike is what one press of the button does, independent of speed. Per second multiplies that by how often you can do it, and adds everything that ticks on its own timer — Scorch, Hephaestus blasts, Hitch spreading between foes. A slow weapon can hit far harder per strike and still land lower per second.

Rotation

Affects Per second only. Rate and attack speed change how often you hit, never how hard — the Per strike tab is unaffected by anything in this panel.
Actions per second for each move. Defaults follow each weapon's in-game cadence — leave them alone unless you want to model a specific playstyle (e.g. Ω-heavy, or Special spam).

Base weapon damage — editable

Values marked wiki are taken from the Hades Wiki move tables. Values marked est are community/approximate — the wiki's tables don't publish them cleanly. Edit any cell and the calculator updates immediately. Nothing here is baked in.

The damage model

Hades II resolves a hit roughly like this — additive bonuses pool together, then a single multiplication:

hit = (BaseMoveDamage + FlatPower)
      × (1 + Σ all applicable % damage bonuses) ← additive pool
      × (1 + CritDamageBonus) ← only on a crit, base +200%
      × Π (1 − DamageReductions) ← multiplicative

expected hit = same, with (1 + CritChance × CritDamageBonus) instead of the crit term

What pools additively

Attack/Special boon %, aspect %, Daedalus Hammer %, global damage %, conditional bonuses (vs. Weak, vs. isolated foes, backstab, close-up, no-hit), and Arcana. This is why the tenth +50% is worth much less than the first — everything shares one denominator.

What sits outside the pool

Olympian Damage — flat-damage boon effects like Splash, Blast, Blitz, Heartthrob, Fine Line, chain-lightning — has its own scaling (Hera's Extended Family, Killer Current, etc.) and ignores weapon % bonuses. Scorch is a damage-over-time pool that drains at 80 dmg/sec (13.3 × 6 ticks/sec); it can't crit and isn't Olympian Damage, but it does scale with global damage. Hitch re-applies 30% of damage dealt to other Hitch-afflicted foes, so it scales with crowd size, not with your weapon.

Rate limits the calculator respects

  • Splash — 0.15s internal cooldown (0.3s on Umbral Flames)
  • Blitz — fires after 120 accrued damage, 0.6s cooldown before re-application
  • Static Shock — max 3 chain-lightning activations per 0.75s
  • Heartthrob — one per 40 Magick spent, max 6 alive, no cooldown
  • Blast — one per recharge timer (12/10/8/6s for Volcanic Strike)
  • Scorch — the applied pool drains at 80/sec, so over-applying is wasted

Duo and Legendary boons

All 36 Duos and 7 Legendaries are included, with values taken from the wiki's raw boon tables for Zeus, Hera, Hestia, Aphrodite, Poseidon, Apollo and Hephaestus — which between them define every duo except the Artemis pairings. Duos and Legendaries use fixed values: they can't be levelled with a Pom of Power, so they have no rarity or level selector.

Prerequisites are checked live. A duo needs at least one boon from each parent god; a legendary wants two from its god. Rows you haven't qualified for are greyed and labelled, but stay tickable so you can model a hypothetical — the total then carries a warning so you don't mistake it for a build the game would actually offer.

Roughly a third of the duos are meta or defensive rather than damage — Brave Face, Cherished Heirloom, Ecstatic Obsession, Sun Worshiper, Warm Breeze, Heinous Affront, Shocking Loss. Those are marked not modelled and listed under the DPS breakdown when selected, so it's clear they contribute nothing to the number rather than silently doing so.

Two interactions worth calling out, because they're easy to get wrong by hand: Arc Flash and Romantic Spark don't stack — the calculator takes the larger, matching the wiki. And Thermal Dynamics only helps if your Scorch isn't already saturated: the pool drains at a fixed 80/sec, so seeding more into an over-applied build is wasted unless Burning Desire is lifting the cap.

Known limits of this tool

It models sustained single-target-plus-cleave DPS, not burst windows, positioning, or i-frames. Cast/Ω Cast boons are included as flat contributions but assume the circle actually lands. Chaos blessings and Selene Hexes are not included. Base damage for the Staff, Flames, Skull and Coat are estimates — correct them on the Weapon data tab and everything downstream fixes itself.
